Strawberries. Still Life

A handful of strawberries with bluish reflections is painted with rapid brushstrokes juxtaposed and superimposed on a light background. Placed on a white surface, the fruits are represented from a raised point of view. A two-dimensional backdrop, which isolates the composition of objects within the atelier space, is placed obliquely on the table giving depth to the representation.
