It is a medium-sized mammal in the class Bovidae. The length of the head and body is 105 to 130 cm, the length of the tail is 11 to 16 cm, and the length of the horn is about 13 to 14 cm. Both sexes have small horns that curve backwards. It has grayish-brown fur and has white spots on its neck. It is characterized by a black line extending along the back to the tip of the tail.
