More. Dress. Woven from strips of fau, bark fibre, shells, and seeds. The upper area of the dress is made of bark fibre, that has been beaten to achieve a delicate, fine and translucent appe'Arānce, light brown/beige in colour. The neckline is made of bark fibre, with a row of red and black seeds bored and threaded onto nylon wire, handsewn along the edge of the neckline. Bundles of golden yellow strips of fau have been wrapped and knotted around a base made of possibly hibiscus strips. This has been handsewn to the neckline using cotton thread. The neckline is further decorated with two circular clusters, placed on the left and right hand sides of the neckline, consisting of red and dark brown/black coloured seeds, bored and threaded onto cotton thread. The clusters of seeds have been sewn into a circular base made of possibly pandanus and bark fibre. There is another cluster of seeds placed at the centre lower edge of the neckline, sewn into a circular base made of possibly pandanus
