Space Time Helix

<space time helix> is an audiovisual performance with a giant spinning standing wave in a white string, forming a large helicoid up to the ceiling, as it utilizes the acoustic sounds of the string amplified with microphones. Quantum physics and audiovisual experiments meet in this performance which covers various themes including helical symmetries and infinity, frequencies and geometry, and sonic visions and perceptions.

Michela Pelusio mainly shows immersion live audiovisual installations, kinetic sculptures, and performance works. She explores perception of human beings, physical phenomena, visual and sound, and art and science. The artist participated in exhibitions and events such as Academie Royal des Beaux arts of Brussels, Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics, MUTEK Festival around the world, and CHRONIQUES Biennale des Imaginaires Numeriques.
