This hand-carved Hopi kachina figure represents Aholi, also known as the Chief’s Lieutenant. Made from cottonwood and dating to the 1880s, the figure features movable arms and a tall, stylized tablita headdress. The facial features are minimalistic, with linear incisions, and the figure holds two paddle-like objects in its hands. This figure is attributed to Aholi, who is known in Hopi tradition as a warrior and ceremonial assistant to Eototo. The carving shows evidence of wear and age, adding to its cultural and historical value.
