John Adams front of the 300 GeV model

January 1969 Dr. J.B. Adams accepted the post of Director of the 300 GeV project offered to him at the December Council Meeting. Dr. Adams came to a Scientific Policy Committee Meeting and Committee of Council Meeting at CERN on 15-16 January and was photographed before the '300 GeV model'. The model shows one possible lay-out of the machine and its associate buildings.
