The Black Liberation Front was founded in 1971. The organisation served as a link between the liberation struggles in Africa and the diaspora living in Britain through Pan-Africanism. Its newspaper, 'GrassRoots' ,began publication in 1971. This collection comprises pamphlets from the BLF's Black Liberation Series and a run of its Grass Roots newspaper.
