A chhint Divalgiri or chintz style wall furnishing for Morakuti, this red ground layered machine printed pichwai is pieced from several sections, and depicts repated motifs of a queen flanked by parrots and peacock emblems. The sides are pieced from plain, coarse cotton fabric with beige corners and trim, while the whole is backed on a plain yellow fabric. Such pichwais were usually used in smaller shrines as curtains to screen the main idol.
