- Description: First part of an elaborate commentary with قلت –قالfor the same main work, written by Yahyá b. Ḥamza b. Sayyid al-Mursalīn al-Muʾayyad bi-Rabb al-ʿĀlamīn (d. 749/1348) in Dhū al-Ḥijja of the year 712/1313. The latter contains, according to Glaser 37, four volumes. The author uses the commentaries of القسم بن الحسين الخوارزمي ابو محمد صدر الافاضل (b.555/1160, d.617/1220) and عثمان بن عمر المغربى ابو عمرو ابن الحاجب (b.570/1174, d.646/1248) and discusses in detail the proverbs and the verses of poets, which are used as confirming sources of evidence, without going into detail about their authors. He begins on f.3r (as he does throughout the text) with the words: قال صاحب الكتاب نوّر الله حفرته’ الله احمد على ان جعلنى من علماء العربية...وادعوه على اهل الشقاق لهم والعدوان الي آخر كلامه فى الخطبة’ قلت كلام الشيخ فى خطبته هذه قد ضمنه معانى واشتمل على مقاصد...الفصل الاول فى ذكر معانى الحمد والصلوة الخ The last paragraph dealt with is on f. 144r: قال...المفعول له هو علة الاقدام على الفعل...قلت قبل الخوض فى تفاصيل الباب كذكر ماهية المفعول له الخ
