Chowki (Low surface)

Design Innovation and Craft Resource Centre, CEPT University

Design Innovation and Craft Resource Centre, CEPT University
Ahmedabad, India

This chowki was recently made by the owner himself out of his passion for carpentry. The legs of this chowki were made using kikar wood and a piece of plywood was fixed to form the top surface. Due to the use of two different types of wood, the chowki was painted to create a uniform appearance and to slow down the weathering process.
