This room in Kilimanoor palace was one of Raja Ravi Varma's favourite spaces. He often leaned on one of the pillars as he reclined late in the evening and listened to scholars tell him stories from the </>Puranas</> and epics. There were no brick and mortar walls for this space in the earlier days, just woven coconut palms that served as covering.
