An aubergine ground silk brocade baluchari sari, with a floral border band extending the length of the sari and decorated with alternating diagonal bands of identical red and off-white leafing flowers—placed more densely at the pallu end, while more widely dispersed in the body of the sari. The sari’s pallu features a central row of three large kairis framed with a floral border, that in turn is surrounded by a wide band showcasing rows of a repeated motif—a seated woman smoking a huqqa.
