The rich collection of 200 pieces of weapons had its origin in 1980s and was collected by the District standing committee in Plovdiv by participants in the April uprising and their successors. They represent different types of flint guns, amongst them the local produce Sliven type stands out. Flint pistols are of the type Balkan, Albanian and French, as well as double-barreled pistols, and the trombone type of pistol with expanding barrel. Cold steel is represented by richly decorated yataghans, swords and knives. Various types of gunpowder and bullet boxes complement the collection.
