A Corner of Kazimierz

This work by Franciszek Starowieyski features a part of one of the backyards in Kazimierz Dolny. The artist builds the composition with quick brush strokes. He avoids details, while simultaneously depicting the nature of this place, with its chipped wall and dilapidated annex. This nearly monochromatic piece perfectly captures the nuances of colours.
