A Country Letter Carrier

Depicts a small boy holding letters in one hand, a dead rabbit in the other hand and a partridge in his mail bag. A dog follows behind him as he stands at a door. He wears a black cap, blue uniform and a red neck tie. The letters bear seals, dating the letter carrier to pre 1840, when stamps replaced seals.
