Aleksandr Dmitrievich Baikov served in the manor as a groom, and after the creation of the museum he became a caretaker. He was killed in action in 1943, and replaced in the museum by his son Ivan Aleksandrovich Baikov (1922–1993), who worked as a caretaker for fifty years. Baikov’s descendants still work in the museum today, continuing the family tradition of this dynasty of Muranovo workers.
