Jorge Serrano Elias, the President of Guatemala ocially visited Korea on the 26th to the 29th of August in 1992, with an invitation from President Roh Tae-woo. On the 27th of August, he had a summit meeting with President Roh Tae-woo at Cheong Wa Dae and discussed matters on friendly cooperation and the common interests for both countries.
