Located near the parish church, the Antonio Faccanoni Kindergarten is immersed in a quiet park and stands at the end of a beautiful tree-lined avenue. Its intended use has never changed over the years, while the original structure has undergone profound alterations. The interior has been completely transformed and little remains of the architecture built between 1910 and 1912. In 1965 the main entrance was also modified, with the replacement of the liberty gate. Today only the façade remains to testify to Giuseppe Sommaruga's project, re-proposing some characteristic elements of his work: the choice of materials in a different color from that of the cladding to emphasize the openings; the floral band that runs under the eaves and binds the small windows on the second floor; the short access stairway, which leads to a different level from that of the avenue. The facade of the Antonio Faccanoni Kindergarten is one of the five Liberty-style architectural works in the Municipality of Sarnico.
