A Family of the Master

This painting depicts the family of a master carpenter who had built Maeta’s new atelier. The rhythm of the colors red, blue, white and brown nicely works in concert with the rhythm of straight vertical and horizontal lines. This is one masterful work that particularly stands out from the catalogue of Maeta’s group paintings.
