A demure woman in a richly detailed gown is shown in front of a horse and a crowd of men and women. A fragment from a larger roundel or panel, the top and bottom pieces of glass in the current setting are modern replacements. The surviving element in the center may be related to a similar fragment in the museum’s collection (2003.70) that appears to be from a scene depicting the Triumph of Chastity over Love from the poem I Trionfi (the Triumphs) by the fourteenth-century Italian poet Petrarch.
