This flat was the 3,000th dwelling in Bristol to be completed by John Laing and Son Ltd using the Easiform method of construction. A policeman guards the entrance on the day of the opening ceremony. Easiform was a method of in situ precast concrete construction which Laing developed from 1919 onwards.
