Choreographer: Jiří Pokorný
Choreographer and former NDT dancer Jiří Pokorný is known for his use of stark lighting and involved group work. 'A Honeydew Hunt' is a phrase Pokorný took from André Breton’s poem 'Always for the First Time'. In this ballet, Pokorný emphasizes the dependence of extreme opposites on one another; how seemingly disconnected elements in distance and difference are an inherent part of each other’s existence.
