I am healthy and staying at a camp. You might think that I am unwell but this is not true. I am just fine, so there’s no difference between my life and that of Moraś, we have all we need and we do not lack anything.
Dear Father. Please, write to me about your health, the health of mummy, my brothers and sisters; how are you doing? I suppose that Zosia must be in a desperate position; surely with no roof over her head, put up in a dugout, like the others; living on the money she can get for her clothes – please, write something about her and give me her address – she is the only sister I really liked. The winter is quite severe here and we are expecting more
