Re-engraving of the English translation of French map by JBB d'Anville (1697-1782) in 1735, charting the whole of the Pearl River passage rather than Canton alone. Included are Macao, Lantao and Canton. Landmarks such as forts, pagodas and the sepulchre of St. Francis Xavier are identified.
