A new gargoyle at Lincoln Cathedral, Minster Yard, Lincoln, Lincolnshire

This photograph was taken the year after this new gargoyle was added to the south transept of Lincoln Cathedral. Carved from Ancaster limestone, It depicts a figure holding keys and a lamp. Its likeness is that of Stuart Boyfield, domus supervisor of the cathedral.
