Biography: Madan Mahatta was born in 1932. He took his training in photography from the Guilford School of Arts and Crafts, Surrey, England. He joined his family studio (located at Connaught place, Delhi) and worked across all genres of photography. He was the first one to work with a Linhof camera and wide angle lenses, which allowed him to develop some of his finest architectural photographs. He died in the 2014 in New Delhi.
