A page from Merchant Stefán Th. Jónsson's "contract book"

The line of interest on this page is about the arrival of Jóhann Hansson to Seyðsifjörður in April 1906. It reads "Motorist Hansson began (working) 24. April. He shall have 100 krónur a month and room and board free". This, at the time would most certainly be seen as very good wages.
