A page of the watercolor album owned by Maria Luigia

The album, with a cover in red Moroccan leather and a case bearing the monogram in gold "ML" surmounted by a crown, consists of 51 watermarked and numbered papers, 46 of which host the same amount of watercolor figures on cut and pasted paper, signed and dated in Indian ink. Sometimes there is also an indication conncted to the title. The subjects are: landscapes, scenes taken from historical or literary episodes, flowers, animals and characters portrayed according to caricature methods.
