    19-1-1960 TENANTS TAKE OVER FIRST OF NEW L.C.C. FLATS ON LATEST LONDON ESTATE. The Mayor of Southwark (Councillor George Darvell) this morning handed over the key to the first tenant of Cornish House, one of the six 18 storey tower blocks of flats on the L.C.C. Brandon Estate, Southwark. The blocks are, at 172 feet, the tallest residential buildings to be completed since the war.
