"NYLONS BY THE MILLIONS" NEW BRITISH FACTORY IS EVERY GIRL'S DREAM DG/M3 Ten thousand nylon stockings each day, or enough samples of sheer leg appeal to last a girl a lifetime if she threw away her stockings every Friday night, is the target of a high speed modern factory which has just been opened at Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. The factory is the result of a combination of English, Irish, American and Canadian enterprise. It is equipped with the latest American knitting machines, though the operatives are mainly Co. Fermanagh men and women. Fermanagh girls are reputed to be the most beautiful in the United Kingdom. PHOTO SHOWS:- "No leg to stand on". Folks who say there's a shortage should see these gleaming nylons drying on heated moulds after dyeing, at the new factory in Enniskillen. Most of these are, however for export.
