"Presently the Polish language is introduced in Wrocław, not as a lousy beggar, but as a Lady and Ruler," said Juliusz Petry, director of Wrocław broadcasting during its inauguration (Sept. 1946). However, the radio didn't only serve for propaganda but also integrated local society. Pictured is a porter's room at Wrocław Radio in the late 1940s.
