A powder box — a wedding gift to O. I. Borisenko

The tanker E. V. Shkurdalov was heavily wounded in the Battle of Prokhorovka. Medical service captain Olga Iosifovna Borisenko donated her blood to save the young soldier’s life. In May 1944, the two had a frontline wedding. The silver powder box became a wedding gift to the bride.
