A radiograph of the painting Lady with an Ermine

On radiograph only places with big amount of lead white, such as the woman’s complexion are visible.the Also there are clearly visible wood grain due to the use of thin layer of lead white on all the surface of the panel. In the radiograph the shape of the ermine is almost invisible because the artist used only applied shades directly on the underpaint layer of white.
