A rich archaeological area - Ererouyk the archaeological area South of the basilica

The area to the South and Southeast of the basilica bears vestiges of sarcophagi and of pedestals with a square plan that are the lower part of a type of vertical cruciferous monument that was fairly widespread in Armenia and Georgia in the early Christian centuries.
