A shot from the "Treasures from the East" exhibition opening

The exhibition, held at the Labirinto della Masone in spring-summer 2018, proposed a selection of extraordinary examples of seventeenth-century decorative arts from Italian and Portuguese collections. It has been possible to admire finely worked objects in ivory, mother of pearl and hard stones which tell of the complex commercial and cultural relationships between Portugal and ith colonies during the era of the great discoveries.
