Frederik de Moucheron worked in Emden, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Rotterdam, travelled in France (1656–1659). Pupil of Jan Asselijn (1600/16–1652) and Balthazar de Moucheron (1587–1667/1687). Teacher of Isaac de Moucheron (1667–1744). Follower of Jan Asselijn (1600/16–1652), Jan Both (1618/22–1652) and Jan Hachert (1628–1685). Painted mountain landscapes, Italianate and architecture.
