A Special Guest Appearance

To celebrate the 10th National CHopin Piano Competition and to promote the upcoming 18th International Chopin Piano Competition, a special concert and presentation was sponsored by The Fryderyk Chopin Institute. Yulianna Avdeeva, the first prize winner of the 2010 International Chopin Piano Competition gave a stunning performance on February 28 - the day before the Final Round of the Competition began. Avdeeva captivated the Miami Audience with a brilliant performacnce of music by Beethoven and Chopin. The concert was preceded by an informative presentation on the history and significance of the prestigious International Competition in Poland.
