A Sumo Bout between Kumoseyama and Tamagawa

Kuniyasu Utagawa was a disciple of the first Toyokuni. Though he died young at the age of
thirty-nine，ｈｉｓ work ranges widely from actors' and beautiful women's picrures to uki-e (pictures using perspective) and pictures on fans. From the names of the sumo wrestlers，we can ascertain that this picture was painted in rhe period between 1819 and 1825.
