Journal entry for Thursday 6 May 1802. William and Dorothy finished their 'Bower' and sat in the orchard. Dorothy brought an apple for William and found him sitting on a seat he had built in a shady spot. Dorothy describes the sights and sounds of the garden and surrounding area. She describes a lot of the flora in detail.
