A Swordsman in the Twilight is a 1967 film directed by Chung Chang-wha and produced by Asia Films. Along with A Wandering Swordsman and 108 Bars of Gold directed by Chung Chang-wha in the same year, this film marks the beginning of Korean swordplay films. Director Chung Chang-wha created a unique style and rhythm of Korean swordsmanship action through A Swordsman in the Twilight and A Wandering Swordsman and 108 Bars of Gold, and soon moved to Hong Kong to become the exclusive director of Shaw Brothers.
