A Twisted Wreck

In the aftermath of the Hindenburg Disaster, the public demanded answers as to the cause of the accident. Pictured are two accident investigators inspecting what remains of the airship's duralumin girder structure. It is possible the Museum's charred girder piece is from part of the wreckage pictured.
