Sarah Wentworth Apthorp Morton was a successful poet whose works received critical acclaim in the 1790s. She published "My Mind And Its Thoughts in Sketches, Fragments, and Essays" in 1823. This series of poems lists one of its subscribers as John Adams, late President of the United States.
