A Wandering Swordsman and 108 Bars of Gold is a 1967 film directed by Chung Chang-wha and produced by the Se Ki Corporation. Along with A Swordsman in the Twilight directed by Chung Chang-wha in the same year, this film is considered as the one that marked the beginning of Korean swordplay films. Director Chung Chang-wha created a unique style and rhythm of Korean swordsmanship action through A Swordsman in the Twilight and A Wandering Swordsman and 108 Bars of Gold, and soon moved to Hong Kong to become the exclusive director of Shaw Brothers.
