A native of Baltimore, MD chef Jasmine is the audacious visionary behind the first female Black owned oyster bar in the U.S. With no working capital she built her following starting in farmer’s markets and festivals in 2017 and later opened her first brick and mortar in 2019. Chef has been featured in countless magazines such as Black Enterprise, Essence, Saveur, Cherry Bomb Vogue: Travel & Leisure, Southwest Magazine, and has competed on Food Network’s Guy’s Grocery Games. Chef Jasmine now owns two restaurants with her newest venture being a burger bar.
