A Big Guy with an Even Bigger Mouth!
Right whale skulls are strongly curved to fit long baleen plates that filter food from the water. Right whales are skim feeders, unlike the Minke and other whales that lunge through schools of fish to feed.  
 
Pacific right whales are even more endangered than their close relatives, the North Atlantic right whales.
