Sioux, Western. Native tanned leather, quilled & beaded using lazy stitch. Beads loop over top edge: white w/bands of green/orange/dk blue. Sides: white, blue/lavender bars alternate w/ green/orange bars. Base: blue & white zig-zag, extension off upper points, topped by pair of metal cones w/orange feathers. 2 motifs 1) Vert. rows, 4 triangles flank rectangle w/an opposing triangle above & below. 2) Quilled: motif repeating triangular design, red w/ white & purple Quilled rawhide w/ design in red w/ white, purple & blue? Leather fringe attached to rawhide. Plain leather thong near top.
