ABC-und Bilder-Buch, Letters G - M

The term 'primer' describes simple books used to teach children their letters, prayers, and, later, other simple subjects. In use at least as early as the Middle Ages, by the end of the 18th century, the books became less religious, and the verses were more humorous. Letters G - M can be found on Page 7.
