Large 17th-century majolica vase for Teriaca with cartouche and handles formed by intertwined snakes. Teriaca, an ancient antidote of the past, was mainly used as a remedy against viper bites, and contained among its main ingredients the meatballs prepared with the flesh of the reptile itself
