Acrobatics of Matsunosuke Naniwa with an umbrella

Ukiyo-e depicting the repertoire of acrobats of Naniwa Matsunosuke lanterns over. Author of Utagawa Sadafusa the ukiyo-e artist was active through Kaei-ki from period Bunsei. Lanterns over is considered to be a more sophisticated repertoire than Rangui over which gained popularity in the period Tempo.
