In the 1980, ninjas came into vogue with popular films such as "Ninja Terminator," "Miami Connection," "American Ninja," and "The Karate Kid." Many of these movies defined karate to an entire generation of kids and inspired countless toys. In the mid-1980, Kenner released a series of action figures based on the mini-series "Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos." Chuck Norris created the show and it was produced by Ruby-Spears Entertainment. The story followed Chuck Norris as a United States government operative with a team of warriors known as the Karate Kommandos. Together, they fought against the organization Vulture, which was led by The Claw and Super Ninja.
